27.10.09: NetGuardians awarded coveted CTI label
The awarding of the CTI label by OPET (The Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology) is an endorsement of NetGuardians and its unique technology. This award will consolidate the company's rapid growth and help attract venture capital support for its expansion into the national and international markets. "We are extremely honored to have obtained the CTI label" said Joël Winteregg, CEO and co-founder of NetGuardians. "It really endorses our vision for the future of IT security. We have managed to build a significant competitive advantage by working in collaboration with our customers to meet their stringent requirements. We now have compelling products for sectors where security is paramount," he added. The CTI label is awarded to approximately 20 Swiss companies every year following a meticulous analysis of their intellectual property, technology, management team, business and financial planning. "This label is a highly respected indicator for venture capitalists that will open-up new opportunities for financing our growth", added Raffael Maio, Vice-president and fellow co-founder of NetGuardians. "The CTI label will provide a springboard for financing the introduction of the NG-Screener to the international market."
