NetGuardians secured a 2 Million Swiss Francs Series A financing from Polytech Ventures. Polytech Ventures is a technology seed fund launched at the initiative of several parties close to the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne (EPFL). Polytech was co-founded by Monsieur Olivier Trancart, previously Executive Vice-President at Oracle Financial Services and Vice President Worldwide Financial Services industry at Hewlett-Packard. Polytech has a strong roster of Start-ups in their portfolio. From incubation at the School of Engineering in Yverdon (HEIG) to a young start-up, NetGuardians’ risk mitigation product line is finding its way into numerous organizations, particularly banks that are wanting to fight internal fraud and comply with regulations. This first round of funding will help NetGuardians hire talent to keep its product on the cutting edge and develop its business locally while expanding its market reach globally, starting with the Middle East and North Africa.
