NETGUARDIANS CONTINUES TO GROW AS FINANCIAL CRISIS MAKES LOG MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY A TOP BUSINESS PRIORITY

Yverdon, Vaud— IT security company NetGuardians SA, specialists in Log Management technology, today announced that changes in the business climate helped rather than hindered the company’s progress during the first quarter of 2009, and that it remains on track to double its workforce and expand into internationals market by the end of the year.

The latest Deloitte Global Security Survey reveals that Security Log and Event Management is the top security technology priority, with 13% of respondents piloting and 27% deploying a Log Management system within the next 12 months. It also confirms that "Lack of resources" is the number one cause of information security project failure, with budget restraints seen as the biggest barrier to information security.

Having specifically developed its Log Management technology for medium-sized businesses, NetGuardians is confident that it is well-placed to prosper during the current adverse business climate.
