While NG-Screener is specifically designed to overcome both issues, NetGuardians recognizes the need for a more coherent approach to log data. We actively participate in industry-wide initiatives for standardization, alongside representatives from Novell, IBM, Boeing, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems.

Xdas4j library

XDAS is developed and promoted by The Open Group. As Java experts, NetGuardians leads the development of the Xdas4j library, which will enable existing Java software to generate XDAS compliant audit trails. View presentation slides

Common Event Expression (CEE™) aims to standardize the way computer events are described, logged, and exchanged by using a common language and syntax and aims to set guidelines for log content and formatting.

NetGuardians supports the CEE community by providing feedback and offering suggestions regarding suitable "Use Cases".
