The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has recommended NetGuardians' fraud management system NG|Screener in support of the new fraud desk directive.
CBN has recently required banks to set up fraud desks to effectively respond to customer reports of fraud. It was also announced that these direct customer services must be supported by an appropriate enterprise fraud management system.
NetGuardians' system covers all channels (e-banking, mobile banking, front-office, back-office), IT systems, and financial transactions across the bank. As required, the task of reporting to the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) can be done automatically. It is particularly easy to use thanks to predefined controls based on Big Data software analyses and automated real-time alerts for suspicious activity.
