NetGuardians shows, once again, its commitment to banking security on the African continent as a sponsor of the African Federation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (AFIIA) annual conference, April 9th to 11th. Taking place in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, the conference will bring together more than 500 internal audit professionals from all over the continent for a program of keynote presentations, practical case studies, and overviews of world-class approaches and models.
The conference theme, "Unity in Diversity, One Continent, One Internal Auditing Profession" reflects the challenges faced by audit professionals on the African continent, while expressing the opportunity-seeking approach. As conference chairman Parity Twinomujuni puts it: "We are faced with several opportunities to transform the continent's approach to management of risk, governance, IT, Control, Ethics, and Leadership for the benefit of our people."
For NetGuardians, it is the opportunity to be part of the solution. "We see this event as the perfect venue to share our expertise and present our solutions for real-time continuous audit of banking systems and internal fraud detection," explains NetGuardians CEO Joël Winteregg. "We have unique, robust software solutions that have already helped a number of clients in Africa and we're very pleased to have the chance to showcase them to an Africa-wide organization."
